Through out the years I’ve seen the web go from purely text sites, to graphics intensive sites, and finally to content driven sites. About 11 years ago I remember developing my first web page. It began as a purely informational site, as it progressed it went more and more graphic’s intensive. Looking back at it now I realize that sites like that focused on the wrong aspect of what the digital age has brought to us.

Today the web is very focused on content. So much so that it is almost a pure stream of information, with the tools to deseminate data and keep your brain from information overload. From Blogs, to RSS, to Portals like http://www.live.com/ our lives have become about managing data and content. The web has hit a milestone in the last few years, it has made it very easy to transfer ideas and technologies rapidly while keeping them in these neat little portlets.
